Mum says cyclist Lorian recovering, doing well

FORMER Rockhampton cyclist Lorian Graham is "doing well'' as she recovers from her injuries from this week's horrific cycling accident in Germany.

Lorian's mother Lorna Graham, of Rockhampton, contacted The Morning Bulletin from Germany yesterday saying Lorian's physical side was coming along, but the emotional side would take a bit longer.

"Yesterday (Thursday) she was hopping from her bed to the doorway and back again,'' she said.

"The accident is replaying in her head and Lorian is very concerned for her coach (Warren McDonald) with him having to face everything.

"She has a lot of support here (in Germany) and is doing as well as she can be.''

Mrs Graham said Lorian's estimated time in Germany was three to four weeks.
