Pair?s back to bolster Comets? bid

? THE return of two experienced players is set to boost the Central Comets for their must-win Queensland Cup round eight clash against Souths Logan at Rockhampton's Browne Park this weekend.

The Comets received some good news yesterday with lock David Nixon and centre Matt Hill back from injury for Sunday night's match.

Nixon and Hill, who has been named on the bench, missed last weekend's 46-10 thrashing at the hands of competition frontrun- ners Burleigh.

Both players trained strongly on Tuesday night, but QR Devel- opment Squad skipper Tyron Haynes and John Bidgood are on stand-by just in case.
