Power coach resigns



THE Rockhampton Stadium Nightclub Rockets can expect to face a determined Yaralla Port City Power at Hegvold Stadium on Saturday night after the shock resignation of the Power's head coach, Dean Page, yesterday. Page, who has guided the Power men's program for the past two seasons in the QABL (Queensland Australian Basketball League) Southern Cross League and into this year's new State Championships, said he had taken the team as far as he could. The Power crashed to their fourth straight loss to Cairns in Gladstone last Friday night and Page said after the weekend off, he finalised his decision in his own mind.
