Power fire up wins

IT WAS a double celebration for Gladstone Port City Power men's and women's basketball teams in Gladstone on Saturday night.

Gladstone's men's team scored their third win of the season with a 98-77 win over the Gold Coast Rage.

Kiwi big man Oliver Hill was the standout, producing his best performance since joining the Power and had the crowd on their feet.

The 206cm giant finished with 25 points and 19 rebounds.

Josh Gill also produced a double with 23 points and 12 rebounds while Glen Chapman hit 21 points.

Gladstone's women's team produced a 82-64 win over the Rage with Diana Neves amassing 35 points.

Kasey Bowman also shone in her first game as captain collecting 19 points.
