Rockets primed for finals

ROCKHAMPTON Rockets players have arrived in force just in time for the finals party.

Rockets players led the scoring in Wednesday night's Rockhampton Basketball division one men's games at Rockhamp- ton's Hegvold Stadium.

Playing for Legends, sharpshooter Greg Scott hit a gamehigh 27 points in his team's 8175 loss to Uni Buckets.

Scott's older brother, Paul Scott, top-scored for Uni Buckets with 24 points, while another Rockets team-mate, Tony Camp- bell, scored 23 points for the victors.

Rising Rockets' star Craig Bosel sank 22 points to guide the Aussiepak Razorbacks to a thrilling 73-67 win over Frenchville Panthers.

In division one women's action, Frenchville Panthers en- joyed a 60-46 victory against Titans and Southside Toledo Spurs beat Freedom Fastcats 6241.

The competition's semi-finals start in two weeks, with this year's grand finals to be played at Hegvold Stadium on Sunday, December 11.
