Rocky athletes bring home gold medals

? EMMAUS College student Daniel McLean is happy to stick to success in the one sport.

McLean (under-14 boys hurdles) joined fellow Rockhampton athletes Jamie Keehn (under-17 boys javelin), of Rockhampton Grammar School, and Joe Collins-Soo (4x200m under-16 boys relay), of The Cathedral College, as the region's gold medallists at the Australian All Schools and Youth Athletics Championships which finished in Sydney on the weekend.

While Keehn is now preparing to put down the javelin and stroke into rowing training and continue club cricket commitments and Collins-Soo is currently attending a Brisbane Broncos camp, McLean is ready for a six week break before resuming athletics training.
