Running Scared debuts in Brisbane

BOOM restricted class Rockhampton sprinter, the Lyle Rowetrained Running Scared, will make his Brisbane debut at Doomben today in the $60,000 3YO Class 6 (1350m).

Running Scared, unbeaten at Callaghan Park, Rockhampton, has drawn favourably in barrier three for jockey Tony Pattillo.

Rockhampton trainer John Wigginton has engaged Brad Pengelly for his Eye Liner Stakes winner Nessuno, which contests the $50,000 Open (1020m) later during the Doomben card.

On Saturday at Eagle Farm, wellknown Rockhampton public figure Jim Rundle, now a keen horse trainer, will have his first Brisbane starter in Compete (Jason Holder) which clashes with Gracemere trainer Jim O'Shea's Jumpin' Jared in the Class 6 (1810m).

O'Shea's Highest Power will also start over 1600m at Eagle Farm while John Wigginton's She's Decent will contest a $100,000 Fillies and Mares (1200m).
