Someone?s holding Lotto ticket that?s worth $1m

COLLEEN Kenny is searching for Rockhampton's newest mystery millionaire.

A lucky punter is holding an unregistered and unclaimed winning Wednesday Gold Lotto draw ticket purchased from NewsXpress Rockhampton, City Centre Plaza. "The person was the only first division winner and we can't wait for them to discover what they're holding,'' NewsXpress owner Ms Kenny said.

There were two division 2 winners in the Queensland draw.

They each received $14,082.95. Forty-seven division 3 winners scored $1078.70 each.

"The ticket was unregistered so we don't know who bought it or when,'' she said.

"Everyone who bought tickets from us for the draw should double check their numbers be- cause they could be a millionaire.''

This was the third first division winner to purchase a ticket from NewsXpress Rockhampton.

The last was just 17 months ago.

"We've also had $50,000 scratchie winners and a $200,000 crossword winner during that time.

"We're a lucky store.''

Last year Rockhampton had three first division winners and was named eighth on Golden Casket's Queensland hot-spot list. The richest prize was $3 million.

The Golden Casket website, www.goldencasket.com, says Wednesday Gold Lotto guarantees $1 million each for up to four first division winners each week. The numbers for Wednesday night's Gold Lotto draw (number 2574) were: 42, 25, 6, 35, 29, and 45. The supplementary numbers were 37 and 2.
