Swans hope to glide home

SWANS will hope Glen Scott will be sharp shooting in the closing weeks of the Rockhampton Basketball division one men's competition.

Scott amassed 25 points, which included four threepointers, in his team's hard fought 58-50 win over Frenchville Panthers at Hegvol Stadium on Wednesday night.

Aaron Glazebrook (17 points) top scored for Panthers.

In the other game, Tim Borg nailed 27 points in Legends' 7257 win over Aussiepak Razorbaks.

Craig Bosel topped Razorbaks' scoring with 22 points.

The division one women's games were one-sided.

Shannon Booth and Kasey Bulman both sunk 13 points each in Southside Toledo's 6026 win over Freedom Fastcats.

Pauline Arnold (12 points) was the Fastcats top scorer. Frenchville Panthers cruised to a 62-33 win over Southside Toledo Spurs.

Leading scorers were Panthers' Katrina Clifford (23 points) and Spurs' Suzanne Hinchliffe (12 points).
