VICTORIA Park trampolinists have set the platform for more success at this weekend's national inter-club championships in Gosford, NSW.

The Rockhampton club dominated the final round of the Central Queensland inter-club circuit at Victoria Park Gymnastics and Trampoline Club last weekend.

More than 110 competitors from Victoria Park, Rockhampton PCYC, Mackay and Emerald contested the two-day event. The hosts amassed a total of 52 medals, led by 25 gold medal winning performances.

Victoria Park's Australian representatives excelled in their final period of preparation for the 2005 World Age Group Games, which start on September 21 in Eidenhoven, Holland.

Dual gold medallists and 2005 CQ champions included, Victoria Park's Jarrod Spear (level 8), Anna Vivash (level 8/9), Ashleigh Rowe (level 7), Riley Glazebrook (level 6/7), Karl Ward (level 3), Amber Madden (level 2), Ben Faulkner (level 2), Rockhampton PCYC's Amber Munster (level 6), Blake Rutherford (level 4), Kale Oxenham (level 2, under 8), and Emerald's Bentley Maguire (level 1).

Victoria Park will send a small team south for this weekend's national meet.
