Tour de Tableland

ROCKHAMPTON riders have hit the road for the ninth annual Tour de Tableland this weekend.

A strong Rockhampton Cycling Club contingent will be aiming to cash in on the $10,000 prizemoney when racing starts today.

Mark Chadwick, Russell Halley, Stirling Milne, Damian Harris, Tyler Wright, Luke Seiler, Anouska Edwards and the in-form Jay Callaghan represent the Rockhampton title charge.

Callaghan is coming off a thrilling victory in last weekend's 50km Cawarral scratch race.

The Tour continues tomorrow and on Monday.

Meanwhile, Rockhampton cyclists are also preparing to line up in the Labour Day Cup in Rockhampton on Monday.
