Warning over pets that bite

A DOG attack which led to a drainage inspector's hospitalisation has prompted Fitroy River Water to warn residents to restrain their pets.

The attack happened shortly after 9am yesterday and while the inspector wasn't seriously injured FRW want residents to be careful.

"If possible, people should keep their dogs restrained,'' a spokesperson said yesterday.

Drainage inspectors are in the process of inspecting every house in Rockhampton to ensure properties aren't discharging water into the sewer system. For details on when inspectors will be visiting call 4936 8777.
