Wonderful weightless world

MAN, Kerry Cromar feels like a woman again.

The 54-year-old Bouldercombe mother of two is now a shadow of her former self after losing three dress sizes in 39 weeks.

And she couldn't be happier.

Mrs Cromar said she loved wearing sexy clothes again and was enjoying having a more feminine body.

"I really do feel more womanly. I'm very happy with myself,'' Mrs Cromar said.

"I'm not going back to that fat girl. I'm staying slim.''

Mrs Cromar's husband, Harry, is definitely not complaining.

"She looks pretty spiffy. It's unbelievable. I'm so proud of her,'' he said.

Mrs Cromar said she decided to visit the Natural Way Weight Loss and Health Care Clinic in Rockhampton after coming to a crossroads in her life.

"I was overweight, unhappy and not a happy person to be with. "I was going through a difficult time and I was in pain all the time.

"I wanted to lose weight to lessen the aches, restore my mobility and inner peace.''

Mrs Cromar said she became really inspired when the centimetres first started to melt away.

She said while it was hard to give up her bad habits ? which she describes as eating everything from lollies, cakes, chocolates to cheese ? it was more than worth it.

"It was hard at first but you've got to focus on the good things.

"I feel trim, taut and terrific.''

Mrs Cromar said with the help of Natural Way Rockhampton owner Flav Garn she was able to devise a new diet that she could prepare at home.

She has also taken up walking, hitting the pavement morning and night for a total of an hour which is twice as much as expected.

Mrs Cromar said she planned to continue losing more weight and stick with her new healthy lifestyle.

She said she couldn't thank Mrs Garn enough. She encouraged people to not be afraid of trying to lose weight.
