Young guns lead the pack

ROCKHAMPTON young guns are leading the way in touch football. In the Rockhampton Touch Association B men's division fixtures at Cyril Connell Fields on Wednesday night Javarn White scored five touchdowns in Bulldogs' 7-4 win over Turf Mulisha in their top-of-the-table clash.

(2) Deadly's Peter Stanley was another scoring machine in the B men's division running in all five touchdowns in his team's 12-5 loss to Prime Time.

In the A men's division Ryan Withers produced three touchdowns in Buckaneers (1)'s 7-5 victory over Buckaneers (2) while in the other A men's game another of the city's young touch stars Jake Crear, a Queensland under-20 touch squad member, crossed four times for Bulldogs in their 9-4 win over Sytriht.

The A ladies division continues to prove a close contest with Buckaneers (1) scoring a 4-2 win over Turkeys while Bulldogs produced a 5-2 victory against Buckaneers (2).

Fixtures continue on Monday and Wednesday.
