Man robs Koongal service station with pump action shot gun

THERE is still no arrest after last night's armed hold up at the Choice service station on Thozet Rd in Koongal.

Rockhampton CIB Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Moon said a team of detectives were following through on some very strong leads.

It is believed a Caucasian male entered the service station around 9pm on Tuesday night armed with a pump action shot gun.

He demanded money and was handed a bag of $20 and $50 notes before fleeing on foot.

The man was dressed in black clothes and wore a piece of black cloth to cover his face.

He is about 175cm tall, of medium build.

Anyone with information relating to the incident should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
