'Arrest that woman' magistrate yells at cursing drug driver

A WOMAN was arrested for less than a minute as she left Rockhampton Magistrates Court last week before apologising to the court.

Emma-Leigh Maree Carter swore as she left the court after she pleaded guilty to one count of driving under the influence of a dangerous drug.

Magistrate Press ordered the woman be arrested and returned to the bar table.

"Apologise or I will have you charged," he told the defendant.

"I will not have swearing in this court."

Carter was charged for driving under the influence of cannabis when police caught her on East St at 1.10pm on May 22.

She was fined $400 and disqualified from driving for three months.
