Former Rockhampton supermodel gives Hugh Hefner the flick
ASHLEIGH McAuliffe has given Hugh Hefner the flick.
McAuliffe, who set pulses revving on the Gold Coast over the weekend, has opted out of attending the 2013 Playboy Mansion Party.
"I was supposed to attend the Playboy Mansion Party this year but I decided to give it a miss," McAuliffe said.
The former Rockhampton model who now lives in Brisbane said she was enjoying a break after contesting the National V8 Supermodel finals on Friday night.
"All of the contests come to a bit of a halt now with the next competition not until March next year," she said.
While the V8 Supercars were tearing up the track at the Gold Coast 600, McAuliffe was tearing up the runway with 13 beauties from across Australia in the quest to find the next V8 Supercar Supermodel.
While McAuliffe did not place in the final of the competition, she said she had a blast competing for the crown.
"I didn't place in the top three and I'm just waiting to find out where I placed overall," McAuliffe said.
"The V8 Supermodel competition is a bit different to other competitions because it's all based around the Gold Coast 600.
"The competition also has one of the highest selling calendars coming out with 12 contestants featured.
"Some of the girls attended the Hilton Splash Pool Party which is a huge event and on the Saturday and Sunday we were out on the Gold Coast 600 course."
