Baby born in ambulance

A NEWBORN couldn't wait to enter the world yesterday.

An Ambulance spokeswoman said the baby was born in the back of an ambulance on the side of the Capricorn Highway between Dingo and Bluff at 1.29am.

The mother, in her mid-20s, and the baby, were transported to Blackwater Hospital.
