Barbecue, fridges on hot list

GRACEMERE police are appealing for anyone with information about items stolen from backyards last week.

Officer in charge Sergeant Ray Pimm said a barbecue was stolen from an address on Audrey Dve last Thursday at 2am.

"It's believed to be linked to another theft on a nearby street, Rosella Dve where food and alcohol was stolen," Sgt Pimm said.

"Witnesses said they saw two Caucasian males, believed to be teenagers, pushing a barbecue down the street but we are asking anyone with information to let us know."

Sgt. Pimm said there had been similar thefts in the past few months where fridges had been stolen from backyards also.

If you have any information call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Gracemere police on 49 33 1811.
