Barnes to perform at PBR after-party

THE action doesn't stop when the bull riding winds up at Browne Park next Saturday night, with Australian singer Casey Barnes to perform at the PBR after-party.

The talented Barnes (pictured), who has played alongside many international stars including Mariah Carey and Bryan Adams, will keep the crowd entertained at Browne Park long after the bulls have gone home.

In 2009, he entered the seventh series of Australian Idol and went on to compete in the semi-finals.

The Gold Coast-based singer is best known for his song Never Break You, which became an anthem after the devastating Queensland floods and Cyclone Yasi.

The song soared to number one on the AIR charts, Top 10 on the mainstream iTunes charts and number six on ARIA's Australian Artists Singles chart, with Barnes donating all proceeds to the Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal.
