Beauty a top priority in Australian women's budgets
AUSSIE women spend up big when it comes to beauty.
The average woman is forking out $3600 on everything from beauty products to grooming.
Invisalign surveyed 1000 women with 75% of them admitting to spending big on their beauty regime.
But what's more surprising is what women are spending it on; despite the fact that teeth rank in the top two facial concerns - proportionately women are contributing only a fraction of the spend towards their smile.
Spending $3600 a year on beauty equates to 5% of the average household income, with most spent on temporary fixes like waxing and tans.
But while women seem pretty happy to spend the big bucks on beauty, the vast majority of Aussie women agreed that "mum's the word" when it comes to revealing this to their partner or family.
