Bikie gang shooting

POLICE were remaining tight-lipped yesterday about a shooting investigation believed to be related to a feud between members of the Rebels Motorcycle Gang.

About 6.30pm on Thursday, a 33-year-old man received a gunshot wound following an incident with another man at a Hervey Bay address.

A gunshot was also fired through a car windscreen.

While police would not be drawn on the background of the shooting, the Chronicle understands both men have a long association with the club.

The victim is in a stable condition.

The property was kept under police guard Thursday and last night.
