Bikie raid nets bird-eating spider, crocodile and python

A BIRD eating spider, a saltwater crocodile and an albino python were taken into custody along with their bikie boss during a bizarre gun raid at Sydney's northern beaches today.   The rare reptiles and their deadly friend were allegedly found at a Dee Why unit where police also uncovered guns, ammunition, handcuffs, knives, cocaine and other drugs.   A 36-year-old man, who police will allege is an associate of the Finks bikie gang, was arrested at Manly and charged with 18 offences including possessing firearms and drug supply.   Investigations continue into how the owner came to be in the care of the 50cm croc, rare snake and the spider, which is native to South America.   Wildlife carers are looking after the trio and further charges are expected to be laid.
