Bloody horse head thrown on to smashed up car

A GODFATHER-like crime scene remains taped off in a western Sydney street where a man awoke to find a bloody horse head on the bonnet of his smashed-up car.
Detectives suspect the head may have been taken from an abattoir and are yet to confirm whether the man is the victim of a sick prank or a more sinister crime.
Forensic officers have photographed a trail a blood leading from the driveway.
Council workers disposed of the head and investigations are continuing.
