Boat found in mangroves of coastal creek

SES crews and Queensland Police Service were called to a boat that lost its mooring on the weekend.

SES Rockhampton coordinator Eddie Cowie said the crews, along with the coast guard, were called to a vessel found in the mangroves in Coorooman Creek yesterday.

He said the boat owner has been notified and was expected to attempt to retrieve the vessel today.
