Bow Energy finds more gas reserves

BRISBANE-based Bow Energy, which this month announced it would build a $50 million gas-fuelled power station near Blackwater, says it has confirmed more certified gas reserves from its Blackwater field.

The company says it needs only 2% of coal seam gas production from the field to drive the power station, which will create 200 construction jobs.

It has potential supply for not only domestic power but also the Gladstone liquefied natural gas projects.
