Boy, 15, charged after man wounded at Pioneer

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with two offences following investigations into an incident at Pioneer in which a man received serious injuries yesterday.

At 6.50am, police responded to a William Avenue address following a Triple Zero (000) call.

Upon arrival, it will be alleged police located a 58-year-old local man with what appeared to be stab wounds and a teenage boy with a hand injury.

The man and boy were taken to hospital for treatment.

A 15-year-old Pioneer boy has been charged with wounding and enter dwelling with intent to break. He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
