FROM dawn to dusk, the Rockhampton Showgrounds is buzzing with everything beef.
But if you're looking for a beef feast, the Victoria Tavern's Skyfire Brazilian Barbeque is the place to go.
With seven different cuts of meat to tempt tastebuds, Vic Tavern manager Jason Watkins said Beef Australia visitors were flocking to the all-you-can-eat Skyfire feast.
"We have seven different types of meat and it's as Brazilian as we can make it to keep the Aussies happy," Mr Watkins said.
"There is Brazilian chorizo sausage, cajun beef, parmesan beef, pork belly done in cumin, corriander and a bush bee honey, lamb done in garlic and rosemary and chicken done in cumin, coriander, orange juice, lime juice and lime zest and our bourbon and hickory ribs.
"Because we are the Beef Captial, we thought we would look at the carnivorous side of people's appetites.
"It's a huge feast and there's heaps of music, mojitos, caprioskas and lots of beer.
"The latter part of the week is becoming quite full very quickly."
Vic Tavern owner Sue Mitchell said the Beef Council of Austalia dropped by to enjoy the feast on Sunday.
"We had delegates from all over the world and that was a great start to the week for us," Ms Mitchell said.
"If you're looking for meat, this is the place. Beef Week is at the showgrounds but this is the meat festival."
