Brisbane brothels keen to cash in on G20
Premier Campbell Newman and Lord Mayor Graham Quirk aren't the only ones calling on Brisbane residents not to desert the inner city during the G20.
Legal brothels said they would be open for business as usual, despite some falling within the "Red Zone".
Greg, owner of The Blue Lounge at Bowen Hills, said he hoped there wouldn't be too many road closures around his eight-month-old establishment.
"It would seem we're right out on the fringe, so I don't think it'll be too upsetting for us, just so long as people don't leave the city in droves," he said.
"We're hoping our trade, especially on weekends, won't drop, as we get a lot of trade from the Valley."
