Body of 'divine facilitator' found: man charged with murder

UPDATE: The body of a Gold Coast spiritual counsellor has been found in Brisbane overnight with a 35-year-old man charged with his murder.

Police said Tallai man Hugo Bonham  was found at Indooroopilly.

Detectives from the Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch and the Homicide Investigation Squad located the body at a storage facility on Coonan Street.

The body has been recovered and transported to the John Tongue Centre where further examination and formal identification will occur.

Scientific and Scenes of Crime officers processed the crime scene at Indooroopilly last night.

Mr  Bonham, who described himself as a ''divine transformational facilitator'', was allegedly killed and disposed of after not being seen since early February.

Mr Bonham was last seen on the night of February 2 as he visited his son at Southport.

Police said that detectives attached to the Gold Coast District CIB and the Homicide Investigation Unit arrested a 35 year old man from Westlake on Monday afternoon.

A Westlake man has been charged with one count of murder and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
