COULD a diamond ring be the start of a sibling rivalry between Camilla and Tye Hall?

Camilla was quick to put on the 1.16ct ring worth $10,000 after the pair smashed the competition in the inaugural Diamond Dash.

This Amazing Race style fundraiser was created by Toowoomba's Central Jewellers, with proceeds going towards the Toowoomba Hospital Emergency Department.

"It hasn't sunk in; I don't want to take it off," Camilla said.

"That's what I'm worried about," Tye joked.

The close-knit pair entered the Diamond Dash after their mum suggested it could be fun.

"Tye thinks he's Macgyver; we thought we'd give it a go," Camilla said.

Their family business, the Two Birds Cafe, was also one of the many local businesses which supported the event.

On Saturday morning they raced around the Toowoomba CBD with more than 20 other duos, solved clues and completed a list of challenges including trivia, lawn bowls, a selfie with Cr Geoff McDonald and dyeing their hair.

"We worked well together. Tye solved some clues and I solved others," Camilla said.

"The best thing was the lawn bowls - you had to hit the white ball and I got it straight away. It was a fluke shot."

Fluke or not the two proved a winning team. Their next challenge will be figuring out how to split the unbelievable prize.
