Browne Park transformed into a grand arena for PBR

THE chutes are up and the grandstand is assembled.

Rockhampton's Browne Park has officially turned into a PBR arena that will see some of the country's best bull riders challenge some of the biggest, rankest and toughest bulls.

APN Australian Regional Media events manager Dianne Hallam said the main infrastructure of the venue was completed yesterday.

"The transformation was in full swing yesterday with the grandstand being put together and the arena being constructed," she said.

"The stock will arrive today before their time in the ring tonight. We do have some changes compared to last year, the position of the chutes has changed and we will have the kiss cam this year which a lot of people have asked for.

"The interest in our reserved seating has been really positive but we're encouraging people to buy their tickets online to save lining up. We're expecting around the same attendance as last year, around 2500 people, and another big attraction this year is the after party with Casey Barnes so it's going to be a great night for everyone."
