Brrrr ... Winter makes a comeback

FORGET spring, winter has made a comeback with the apparent temperature plummeting to minus 2.2 degrees in Toowoomba this morning.

The freezing cold apparent temperature was taken at 5am. At 5.30am, it was -1.6 degrees.

The actual temperature was about 5.5 degrees.

The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a sunny day with daytime maximum temperatures in the low to mid 20s.

There is the chance of a light frost tomorrow with overnight temperatures expected to fall to about 7 degrees.
