Brumbies looking to sink the Marlins in A-grade round two

THE pressure is on the Frenchville Brumbies to keep their error rate to a minimum in a much-anticipated A-grade round of netball tonight.

The Brumbies will take on the Capricorn Coast Marlins, one of the more challenging sides, at CQUniversity from 8.10pm.

Brumbies' goal shooter Angela Horn said her side was focusing on trying to rally players for a strong side.

With one key player, Taylah Pringle, away in Brisbane for university preparations, the Brumbies were hoping to have back-up.

Horn said the side was lucky to have a crucial asset in Bronwyn Jones, the team's "all-rounder", who played at centre for most of last season. However, last week, Jones played at goal defence. She's also thrown on the goal shooter bib.

"We do have a few players away sick as well," Horn said.
