Tips for cyclists

Obey the road rules. This includes stopping at traffic signals and stop signs and obeying give way signs.

Riding two abreast is permitted as long as cyclists are within 1.5 metres of each other.

Be courteous to motorists.

Ride predictably in a straight line and signal your intention before changing directions.

Look for other vehicles; never assume a driver has seen you.
