Bureau says chance of showers for Rockhampton Show

THERE is a 30% chance showers could sprinkle parts of the Capricorn Coast today and tomorrow, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

And although that was the weather forecast for the next 24 hours, the rest of Capricornia was set to receive some mostly sunny conditions.

Light winds were likely to pick up to 20kmh this morning.

Overnight temperatures will fall to between 10 and 16 degrees, with daytime temperatures reaching the mid to high 20s.

Tomorrow's outlook is forecast to be about the same as today, meaning Rockhampton Show goers may be wise to carry an umbrella with them.

On Thursday, the conditions could change with a 50% chance of showers near the Capricorn Coast.
