ALL I needed were my cowboy boots and hat to make the look complete.

I was already in full cowgirl mode as I jumped on a bucking bull yesterday.

I even managed to stay on for most of the ride, lucky for me; the bull was a mechanical one.

I had the chance to test out a mechanical bull belonging to sisters Zoe and Heidi Hohn.

Together the girls run Zohide, their mechanical bucking bull business that is rented out for all types of events.

Their dad spotted the mechanical bull at an auction two years ago and they've been having plenty of fun with it ever since.

"The business is a bit of fun and a great chance to meet new people and see them have fun," Heidi said.

The mechanical bull isn't as daunting as you may think; I couldn't wipe the smile off my face when I had a go.

The bull can go at various speeds, but once you've gained some confidence, crank up the speed and get ready to hold on tight!

Zoe and Heidi say that when they head to events everyone there always ends up on the bucking bull.
