Business marks milestone

STARTING out with just two partners and two other staff 30 years ago, Tony Edwards could only dream Evans Edwards and Associates would be the 40-employee strong business it is today.

Staff and clients celebrated the anniversary over the weekend with a function at Kershaw House.

About 140 people came along from as far west as Barcaldine, as far north as Mackay and as far south as Brisbane.

Mr Edwards started the business and said he was proud to see it grow, now with offices in Yeppoon, Emerald and Brisbane and a head office in Rocky.

He said he was pleased with the firm’s development, providing innovative taxation services and forward-thinking business advice to the Central Queensland community.
