Busted water main on Peppermint Drive from accident

A CAR left the road and ruptured a water metre this morning in Peppermint Drive, Rockhampton.

The incident occurred around 8.10am in Kawana.

Ambulance authorities transported a person to Rockhampton Hospital from that street, but couldn't confirm whether they were involved in the incident.

Fire authorities attended the scene and Fitzroy Water was also contacted to deal with the water metre rupture.
