Caboolture woman to face court over $36,500 in overtime

A 35-year-old Caboolture woman will face court next month; facing allegations she claimed $36,500 in fraudulent overtime and penalty payments.

An investigation by the Crime and Misconduct Commission alleges the former public servant was appointed to help deal with extra work as Queensland Health rolled out its new payroll system in March 2010.

The CMC claims she made 46 fraudulent claims for overtime and penalty payments between May 2010 and August 2011.

She is scheduled to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on 29 July 2014.
