Sister to shave head in honour of twin brother
GROWING up, Debbie O'Sing and twin brother Tom Schmidt were inseparable.
Their bond remained strong through adulthood and without him Debbie feels like part of her is missing.
Last week Tom died after a nine month battle with lung cancer.
This weekend Debbie will shave her hair off to raise money for cancer research at the Frenchville Sports Club.
Debbie started planning the event and fundraising when Tom was diagnosed in July.

Tom planned to be there and colour his beard for the cause.
Instead, Debbie said she would be remembering their time together and paying tribute to his memory.
"Tom was the most kind-hearted person," she said.
"He would do anything for anyone.
"He'll be sadly missed by a lot of people."
Debbie said Tom would volunteer to mow someone's lawn, but spend longer than needed at the job just having a cuppa and a chat with them.
Three weeks ago, Debbie and Tom spent a week together in Brisbane, where Tom was receiving treatment for the cancer.
Debbie said the memories from that week were something she would always treasure.
She has reached her fundraising goal of $5000, but hoped to raise even more.
"I would like to see them find a cure so no one else has to go through that.
