Cannabis found in backpack

2.15pm: A 30-YEAR-OLD Rockhampton woman was charged with possession of a dangerous drug and possession of something used in crime after her car was searched by police in Hinz Avenue, Yeppoon, last Sunday.

Police allegedly found 23 grams of cannabis in a backpack, a large quantity of clip seal bags, digital scales and other bags containing a small amount of cannabis.

Police said they also found two bags containing a powdery substance which is being tested.

The woman is due to appear in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on June 3.
