"WHAT are the conditions?" is the question Steve Challen gets asked every time he answers his phone lately.

The 86 Andergrove Rd, Mackay, joint was bought by Palmview Homes in 2007 and it wants the house removed to make way for a new development.

The new owner would have to pay for the houses removal, a job Mr Cullen thought would cost about $55,000.

"There's been interest.

"There are a lot of guidelines (about shifting houses) not set by us. It will go to the first to satisfy all the requirements."
