The first Capricornia candidates Live Blog now

THE first Capricornia candidates Live Blog will kick off at 2pm today here on The Bulletin website.

The candidates participating are ALP's Peter Freeleagus, LNP's Michelle Landry and KAP's Robbie Williams.

UPDATE MONDAY 10.30AM: Palmer United Party candidate Diane Hamilton has pulled out of tomorrow's Live Blog for personal reasons.

In her place will be ALP candidate Peter Freeleagus.

The Live Blog session will run from 2pm to 4pm with Mr Freeleagus, LNP candidate Michelle Landry and KAP candidate Robbie Williams.

Thursday 4.30pm: PETER Freeleagus' office has contacted The Bulletin saying the ALP candidate would like to participate in the Live Blogs, if able.

The Bulletin is currently working to see when Mr Freeleagus can be slotted in, depending on the number of candidates already allocated to sessions and Mr Freeleagus' availability.

The Bulletin will keep readers posted of developments, or changes to the Live Blog sessions, once everything has been locked into place.

Wednesday: WANT to talk to a Capricornia candidate before election day?

The Bulletin will be hosting Capricornia Live Blogs every Tuesday afternoon between 2pm to 4pm.

The Bulletin has locked in six out of the seven known candidates for the electorate into time slots over the coming weeks.

The first Live Blog, to be held on August 13, will feature Katter's Australian Party candidate Robbie Williams, Palmer United Party candidate Diane Hamilton and Liberal National Party candidate Michelle Landry.

The second Capricornia Live Blog will be held on August 20 and feature Family First candidate Hazel Alley, Greens candidate Paul Bambrick and Independent Bruce Diamond.

The third Capricornia Live Blog will be held on August 27 featuring Ms Landry and Mr Diamond.

The last Capricornia Live Blog will be held on September 3 and feature Ms Alley, Ms Hamilton and Mr Williams.

The Bulletin has not yet heard from Peter Freeleagus' campaign team about whether he will be participating in the Live Blogs and if so, which dates.
