Car crashed into electrical transformer in Carina

POLICE are investigating a traffic crash that occurred at Carina Heights last night.

At about 11.40pm, a car travelling west on Gallipoli Road has left the roadway and crashed into an electrical transformer.

The driver and sole occupant, a 37-year-old woman, received a serious chest injury and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Investigations into the crash are continuing.
