Car explodes into flames on Bruce Hwy, massive delays

A car bursts into flames on the Bruce Hwy causing extensive traffic delays. john mccutcheon
FIRE fighters have arrived at the scene of a single vehicle fire burning on the roadside at the Buderim/Mooloolaba exit from the Bruce Highway.
The cause is not yet known nor whether anyone is trapped inside the vehicle.
Police and fire fighters are both attending the incident on the Wilson Road off-road as traffic slows to a stand still.
The highway north from Brisbane is already moving slowly with heavy traffic evident through the whole route.
