A CAR has flipped and landed on its roof after a two vehicle collision in Toowoomba this morning.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Long and Geddes Sts about 7.15am.

The motorist in the overturned vehicle had freed herself from the wreckage before emergency services arrived.

Traffic is being directed by police at the intersection.

One lane of Long St was closed as authorities cleared the scene.
