Car rolls near Jericho

A 21-YEAR-OLD male passenger and a 19-year-old female driver were taken to hospital in a serious condition this morning after their vehicle rolled 20km East of Jericho on the Capricorn Hwy.

Ambulance and police were called to the scene about 10.45am.

Both patients were transported to Barcaldine Hospital.

A spokeswoman for Jericho Police said no other vehicles were involved and the cause of the accident was unknown.

The man is expected to be flown to Brisbane tonight.
