Car thief runs from Biloela police

  

 

 

BILOELA police sighted the stolen car at 10.50pm on the Dawson Highway Moura and attempted to intercept it but the man driving continued for a further five km before stopping on a side track and fleeing on foot.

 

Police searched the area near Roundstone. but were unable to locate the driver, the stolen car was recovered.

 

The driver is described as being Caucasian, 168cm, about 55-years-old, grey beard and hair, solid build and was wearing a grey tracksuit.

 

Police suspect the man may be hitch hiking and is still within the Biloela area.

 

Police are investigating the theft of another three cars within the Biloela area over the past two weeks.
