Cash for caring

TWENTY-ONE organisations in Rockhampton will share state government funding of more than $400,000 aimed at improving home and community care services for the aged and people with a disability.

Grassroots organisations with a proven track record of providing front-line assistance will benefit from grants ranging in size from $8000 to $59,000.

Among the beneficiaries are Meanls on Wheels Rockhampton, Schotia Place Senior Citzen's Centre and Capricornia Respite Services.
